EXHIBITION

In association with Australia Day on 26^th Jan a mind- blowing exhibition  on  Australia was masterminded by the students of  The Children’s Garden  Higher Secondary School recently.  The expo was inaugurated by Correspondent Miss. Shakunthala Sharma , ‘Piriyamana Thozhi’ editor Mrs. Priya Kishore  and Headmistress Mrs. Rm. Karpagambal. Students from VI to XI played a vital role in the exhibition and  have exhibited a lot of models.

Models depicting Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge , Jenolan caves, Federation Square, Australian Alps, The  Great barrier Reef, The  New  Parliament House , Victoria market, Pink lake, sand dunes , Three sisters, The great Victoria desert, Wax Museum Madam Tussauds, Aquarium and many more  were displayed impressively.

The Australian people ,their food,culture, religion,education, geographical origin, historical origin, currency, festivals , electricity, technological advancement were explained by the students vividly. The forest fire out break and the loss it caused to the environment  was picturised perfectly. The Australian  animal songs were sung. A rangoli of Australia  map  was drawn

indicating the states and territories .  The Australian National Anthem was sung with  high spirit.  A  awesome video on Australian Tourism brought alive vibrant Australia. All these gave the students  a feel of tour to Australia  without  Visa and Passport.
