Admissions are open for 2021! Walk in or call us at : +917010576298 or 044 28475359 (Mrs. Thilagam Karunakaran, headmistress). We are successfully holding online classes on Google Meet to ensure that there is no break in children’s education arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our classes begin from UKG to Standard V. Inspired by our founder’s ideals, we draw together different methods of education focusing on hands-on, play-way and activity based learning. Team-work, cooperation and self-reliance are stressed on.
Children are inspired to develop curiosity and creativity in learning, moving beyond books to explore the world around them. With airy classrooms, designed for free movement of children and stocked with educational aids, we believe in providing the best of education for children from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Travel through our school
Health Care and our Little Doctor Project
Our in-house health centre, and nurse maintain basic records of the health of all our children. Our school visiting doctors pay special attention to our children and take care of our children’s needs.
Our Little Doctor project trains our older children in first aid and taking temperature and weight.
Beyond Books: Art, Craft, Music, Dance, Theatre
Our art, craft, dance, music, theatre, story-telling and puppet shows, bring out the best in our children’s creativity. Text-book and other learning systems are integrated with art, craft and other mediums of expression. Children participate in functions in and outside the school, participate in competitions and have won many prizes. On our annual Founder’s day our children’s choir and dance programs bring alive their talents, and give every child a chance to participate.
Inclusive Education
Since 1937, we have integrated challenged children into our mainstream school system. Challenged children are guided through school with our specially trained teachers, and are assisted by helpers. Special educational teaching aids for children are provided, along with in-house physiotherapy and speech therapy, for which experts visit our school for the same.
Moving Online
With the COVID-19 pandemic, we are moving our classes online. We hope to resume normal life soon, but until then, with the cooperation of our children, parents and teachers, we are making this new mode of learning into an interactive and creative experience.
